Employment and education verifications will typically be complete within 24 - 48 hours. Again, a few select education institutions require a mail-in procedure, as do certain employers, but on the whole, this information is readily available.

Professional and peer references carry completely different expectations. When Verified receives a request, we contact the references almost immediately. However, certain problems interfere with our ability to complete references in the desired amount of time. Sometimes contacts are on vacation, unreachable due to missing phone numbers or unwilling to provide a reference due to interest or company policy. If these problems occur, Verified will keep you informed of the potential delay, otherwise, you can rely on the references to be completed within 48-72 hours. We recommend, with your approval, the ability to contact applicants in order to obtain additional information in the event the referencing process is not progressing. This approach has been the most client-friendly and efficient means to conducting our applicant references.
