Getting Started

Our belief is that every company is different and requires a consultative approach to getting started. Before we understand your culture, and why your company is considering our service, we take the time to educate our clients on the effects of working with a consumer reporting agency.

A comprehensive review of your company’s hiring process will range from understanding your department structure, to a review of your current policy, to discussing regulations and laws that govern our services. Most importantly, we make sure you are comfortable and confident in understanding everything involved with our partnership.

Verified has developed a recommended checklist of seven easy steps to getting started with us.

  1. Communication – Every successful relationship includes good communication between both parties. So, Verified’s first priority is to learn more about your department’s policies, matrix and goals. We’ll need to understand your expectations and how you envision us integrating with your department.
  2. Meet Verified – After we understand how our success will be measured, we feel it is best for your organization to understand what you can expect from us, from the services we render, to what we’ll need from your organization to deliver the results you’re looking for.
  3. Selecting Services – Selecting the services that best match your organization’s needs is one of the most important steps in the process. We will take the time to make sure the services you select make sense and can be applied to your decision making process.
  4. Cost/Benefit – Verified will take the time to present the cost-benefit analysis of integrating Verified into your department. We educate your organization on the benefits of outsourcing a portion or all of your pre-employment screening procedures. In addition, you will learn about our a la carte and/or package pricing. You’ll have a clear understanding of how much to budget for years to come.
  5. Official Review – Once you are comfortable and considering Verified as a potential solution to your pre-employment screening needs, we will need to review your application for employment, written hiring policies and your authorization/disclosure forms. If you need any of these documents, see how verified can help by visiting our resources section.
  6. Subscriber Agreement – Once Verified has earned your business and before we join your team, we need make sure you’re in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. By signing our Subscriber Agreement you will certify your compliance to the FCRA, DPPA, and any state and federal law that will apply to your activity with Verified. This is a requirement. Verified must have this agreement signed to stay in compliance with state/federal agencies, applicable laws and vendors before we conduct our services.
  7. Integration – We’ll organize our staff and procedures so you’ll have the ability to experience a smooth transition. You receive fax request forms, dedicated customer ID’s for your staff to access our online system and all the time and consideration it takes for things to be done right the first time.
